Softbank weighs selling or listing Arm

Softbank is considering selling or listing design company Arm ahead of schedule, CEO Masayoshi Son confirmed in a press conference discussing financial results. Originally, the Japanese conglomerate intended to take its British subsidiary public again (link in Dutch) in 2023, but it’s now looking at other options, including a sale to another company. Son confirmed there has been interest in Arm but refused to name which firms Softbank has been talking to. It was previously reported that the Japanese company was engaged in serious talks with Nvidia.
