Photonics-based spectrometry startup Mantispectra finds seed capital

Photonics startup Mantispectra has secured a seed capital investment from Photondelta and Innovation Industries. The spinoff from Eindhoven University of Technology is developing handheld near-infrared spectrometers based on integrated-photonics technology. “With this investment, Mantispectra is able to take the next steps to bring this promising technology to the market. This includes attracting highly qualified personnel to expand the team and industrializing and scaling up the product and manufacturing processes,” commented Maurangelo Petruzzella, managing director and co-founder of Mantispectra.
