Artificial intelligence specialist Braincreators and the infrastructure consultants at Unihorn are collaborating on an AI solution for visual road inspections. Their Inspech system is to detect road defects from camera images. The companies aim to replace manual inspections of road defects.
The image input for Inspech is captured with a camera setup for visual road inspections attached to a car. The solution uses proprietary algorithms to automatically classify defects. It then determines which road segments need maintenance and sends automatic tickets to road management.
